I have just been informed that one of my friends has had a liver fauilure. Please pray that she will live.

I am very sorry to hear about your friend. It must be a difficult time for her, her family and friends like you.
Fortunately, liver failure can be treatable in some cases even without having a transplant. I hope that your friend gets through this and goes on to make a full recovery.

thank you Dazza. She will have a transplant, assuming she lives that long, and the worst part is not knowing what's going on. I'll keep everyone up to date with what's up wit her.

at the Easter Vigil mass tonight we learned nothing else. If only we knew what was going on I'd feel so much happier- uncertainty often scares me as you can tell
