Classic FM presents ‘Voices 2008’, a brand new two-disc compilation packed with over two hours of the world’s most famous vocal classical pieces.

Relaxing disc 1 features the soft tones of Delibes’ ‘Flower Duet’, Brunning's beautiful 'Pie Jesu' peformed by female vocal group All Angels, Katherine Jenkins singing Sibelius’ ‘Be Still My Soul’ and many more relaxing vocal classics performed by Renée Fleming, Elin Manahan-Thomas, The Sixteen and many more.

Uplifting disc 2 includes Parry's triumphant Coronation Anthem 'I Was Glad' , Bryn Terfel singing Mozart's jovial 'Champagne Aria' from Don Giovanni, Pavarotti performing Leoncavallo's 'Mattinata' and many other uplifting vocal classics from some of the world's greatest singers, including José Carreras, Emma Kirkby and The Choir of King's College Cambridge.

This is a cracking line up, I am going to order this one!

Pie Jesu, is a fine piece. I think that AA sing it particularly well. The CD also includes the lovely piece by Sibelius 'Be Still My Soul', sung by Katherine.
