All Angels is currently ranked 618 at Amazon UK, this is the first time I've seen it in the top 1,000.
It is not currently classified as Classical by Amazon but if it was, it would be no. 26.

Hello everyone, After their GMTV appearance, the All Angels album (still prerelease) shot up to no. 214 in the Amazon overall rankings, the first time it's been in the top 500. In the new and prerelease section, it's upto no. 53. All good news, with nearly 3 weeks to release date! To save a separate post in the singles thread, I'll mention that Songbird is currently no. 8 in the i-Tunes Vocal genre (not the overall chart), this is the highest I have seen it. Dave

Excellent news Dave and congratulations ladies.
I shouldn't ask but how does that compare with Angelis?

I'm really pleased to think that the world is opening up to the girls.
Well Done the four of you!!
Roger - Can you tell us what the four TV appearances are? If it's in another threat I appologise!

Hi Grant, Apology accepted! The first of the four to which I referred was on Channel 5 News today (a video of which is now available in the Video Vault at AAI). The other three are as follows: The next one was originally listed as BBC London News on 26th October but we have heard today that they will appear on Newsround. It is not clear if this is in addition to (or a correction of) the earlier details. Then: 30th October - 'Loose Women' on ITV1 31 October - 'Most Haunted' on Living TV From then on, they will appear in the Festival of Remembrance on 11th November, 'This Morning' on 4th December, and the Christmas Eve Service on... well... Christmas Eve actually! Roger

In this morning's Amazon prerelease charts, All Angels is at no. 35 (no. 120 overall). Angelis is at no. 25 prerelease and Katherine Jenkins is at no. 2 However, All Angels releases a week later than the other two, so... Of the releases due 13th November (All Angels' date) or later, they move up to no. 16, so that's somewhere in between where Katherine and Angelis would have been at the same stage (last week). Edit At I-Tunes, digital the album (released there today) is already no. 22 in the "Vocal" top 100 albums. The digital single "Songbird" is at no. 8 in I-Tunes Vocal section. So far so good... Dave

Here are the most popular All Angels tracks at I-Tunes, in order of popularity (this probably means that some people are listening to the samples then downloading specific tracks, rather than the whole album):
1 Songbird - single 2 Songbird - album track 3 Agnus Dei 4 Angels 5 The Flower Duet (From Lakmé) 6 Salve Regina (Based On Pachelbel's Canon) 7 Steal Away 8 The Windmills of Your Mind 9 Barcarolle (From the Tales of Hoffman) 10 Silent Night 11 Intermezzo (From Cavelleria Rusticana) 12 Ave Verum Corpus (Theme from Brideshead Revisited) 13 Ave Maria 14 Pokarekare Ana
I have to say, Agnus Dei (top after Songbird) is absolutely stunning and also, the longest track on the album.

Hi Dave, Thanks for giving me cause to ask you another charts question! If people are downloading specific tracks rather than the whole album, what effect does that have on album sales figures and therefore its chart position? That's got him thinking! Roger
