Hi lauraisbestangel, Welcome to the forum from me too and thanks for posting your photos, I'm amazed that you managed to get any at all so well done! I was there too so who knows, we may even have seen each other! I thought they did very well in that open bandstand in the cold wind and Alex did very well at such short notice, as a stand-in for Laura. I was standing next to Alex's mum dad and family, we had a nice chat, I do hope something good comes out of this for Alex. We must try to remember between us which songs they sung as I've lost the notes I took oh yes, Nothing Compares 2 U was one of them, wasn't Silent Night another? Now, somewhere buried inside my computer are the photos I took on the night - conditions were difficult as you can testify - especially when they kept covering the area with artificial snow! I'll try to post some within the next day or two. Cheers, Dave

Hi everyone, Most of my photos were poor because of the conditions but I do have a few reasonable ones so here are a couple (sorry for the delay ) Melanie Alex Charlotte and Daisy singing on the bandstandAlex Melanie Charlotte and Daisy after the performance I'll see if I can find any others that I can post, I think there are a couple. Cheers, Dave

Hey Dave, ur pics are a lot better than mine! lol
Um I think the girls sung, Songbird then Pie Jesu afterwards.
I also remember them singing, Singing you through, Nothing Compares to you and they finished with Silent Night, I remember that they tried to get everyone to sing along with Silent Night. I was but some other girls were trying to imitate the girls high notes. lol. I'm not sure whether there were n e other songs. I av 2 videos of the concert as well. But I dont no how i cud put them up for people 2 watch.
Dave did u also have to go to the Hayley Westenra Concert as well? cos if you did i would no who u were. lol
I have to admit the conditions were horrid. It didnt help that they keep blowing that foam snow or watever it was everywhere. Plus it was absolutely freezing, i was wearing my hat and scaft and a thick jacket but i was still really cold. I felt for the girls though because they had to wear dresses and their coats didnt look that warm.

Just thought I'd mention that in the picture of the girls singing on the bandstand, that person kind of blocking the camera view with their head........... is me! lol. As you can see I was wearing a woolly hat, because it was freezing! haha ;D

Hi Shauna, Yes I remember you now, from before and after the performance. You must know who I am, the old bloke with not much hair and a largish camera hanging around my neck LOL. Do you remember how I had to be cheeky and yell after Alex, with the other Angels, so we could get her to join them for my photo? I had to get away really fast for the Hayley concert in Croydon that evening, my final photo was taken from the multi-storey car park at 6:44pm and I was getting quite worried by then! But I'm glad I took the risk and went there, it's always good to do the impossible! If you noticed the the people standing to my left during the performance, they were Alex's mum dad and sister, possibly another sister or brother too (or a friend). Here is one of the photos that you took Shauna, which I have turned upright and tried to make clearer, well I did what I could. All Angels at Bluewater - by ShaunaAll Angels chatting with fans at BluewaterThe Bandstand - and a mystery fan before the performance started. It's surprising what you sometimes find among the test shots and the "no good" photos! ;D I have a few more of the Angels still to post. Cheers, Dave
