Hi Everyone
Great concert and I enjoyed All Angels singing but who is this lovely 17 year old soprano Kathy Leigh? What a great voice! Where did the Angels find her?
Bonnie
Hi Bonnie I spoke to Kathy on saturday and she was not 'found' by the Angels she is managed by Purple Dragon as is Sophie Hill. They were both great and added to the evening.

Hi Everyone,. Here are the photographs I took... I had to reduce the image sizes so click on the image for the full version. Coventry CathedralThe cathedral is very modern because as many of you may know the old cathedral was bombed in the War. The second picture was taken from the tower of the old cathedral ruins. In the third picture you can see the glass front of the cathedral, I went down during the afteroon and could see and hear the girls rehearsing through it. V.I.P ReceptionThere wasn't as much time spent with the girls so I didn't take too many photographs.. I tried to get more pictures of Laura as I didn't seem to get as many of her at York, I just got the one though before I moved away to allow others time.. I did get another but I think Laura will kill me if posted it. ;D Charlotte and Laura Me with the girls, along with a drawing I had done and had framed for them. The girls with Kathy Leigh Dazza

Brilliant pictures Dazza. I was confirmed in the Cathedral 21 years ago when my son was just a baby (he is now 22!) and I have fond memories of the Cathedral. It was good to go back and hear such beautiful music there, the girls were truly outstanding, as were the other people who were performing. It was well worth the money just to hear them, it certainly made the hair on the back of my neck stand up, which is a sure sign it is good. Wanted to go to the Awards in May but we are on holiday. Will be looking out for people who do manage to go to see what it was like. Hope the girls win! Shazza

Hi Shazza, Glad to hear it, I trust you have voted then? Spread the word if you can, the girls need all the votes they can get and voting closes on Friday. Here are two more pictures taken by my friend Jeremy who attended the concert, hopefully he will be joining this forum too.. Dazza

Hello Shazza and welcome to the forum even if I am late in saying so! I am pleased that you enjoyed the concert but very sorry to hear that the circumstances were less than ideal. Hopefully, future occasions will prove better for you. Wanted to go to the Awards in May but we are on holiday. Will be looking out for people who do manage to go to see what it was like. Hope the girls win! Shazza We will certainly have coverage of the Classical Brits but we are likely to have a much greater coverage on our other forum at HWI because about 24 members will be going. I will put a link from here to there when the time comes. Best wishes, Roger

Must admit from what I saw on Friday night, I was wondering how many of those people seated in the front rows had actually paid for their tickets. Apart those who were obviously connected to the girls there seemed to be quiet a lot of people who had connections to the venue. If a lot of those people who paid for VIP tickets didn't get to meet the girls then I am glad I didn't paid the extra price over my premium tickets. I think I would have felt a bit aggrieved to pay all that extra cost to be able to sit a couple of rows further forwards (This is not a criticism of the girls, I thought they were great, but perhaps some of the way the shows are managed needs to be looked at)

Thanks for the gorgeous pictures so far! Your drawing is really neat, Dazza! Two random questions, one of which I'm simply too lazy to find the answer to... 1) Is the blue dress Melanie is wearing from their earlier photoshoot where they were all in dark blue dresses? The girls are starting to develop quite an extensive-- and gorgeous-- wardrobe!! 2) What DVD is Charlotte holding, and why? haha. (Or is it a book with a shiny cover...?)

Hi Chantelle,
I can't quite recall which photoshoot you mean at the moment and I could be wrong but I am certain that it is a new dress.
As for the DVD that Charlotte is holiding, I think it is one of the copies of the DVD of the St Jame's Piccadilly concert that Drew made for the girls.

Hi Dazza Yes I have voted, so has my husband, we will be keeping an eye on the news whilst on holiday, to see how they get on. I so want them to win, although all those nominated are good, All Angels are brilliant. Keithp - I too wondered how many of the people in the front two rows paid. I was particularly annoyed that the family of the production team were also included in the reserved VIP, the girls family I can understand, but there has to be a limit. After paying £60 a ticket, it is a little annoying to find yourself edged out by people who possibly haven't paid anything! But saying that, as soon as the girls started to sing, it was worth every penny! Shazza

Superb photographs, Dazza! Just out of curiosity, who took the ones with you in them? Welcome to the forum, Shazza. I hope to meet you at a concert somewhere before too long. Best Wishes, Richard

Hi Richard,
My friend Jeremy, who will hopefully be joining this forum took the second two pictures with his own camera. I am not sure who took the first, somebody I didn't even know had my camera off me.

Well Shazza, as a new member you know so much.....actually so little....I quote... I was particularly annoyed that the family of the production team were also included in the reserved VIP, What a load of rubbish, there were no members of the production crew in the front two rows at any of the concerts there was only family of the Artists and people who had paid for VIP tickets but had special circumstances....and anyway if there were why shouldnt there be it was thier event not The All Angels at the end of the day?...they were picking up the bills not the All Angels. This happens at all concerts the promoters always have the choice of who sits in the front rows......I have been to many concerts and this happens everywhere...I am not saying it is right but thats the way of the world......

Actually, the husband and two children of one of the production team was sitting on the second row on the left hand side of the cathedral, I watched her sit them down and heard one of the children call her mummy! That is why I mentioned it. I would not comment on a site like this on something I was not sure of because of people like you!! If that is the way of the world, then it is pretty sad to think that we should all just accept something and not be able to have freedom of speech about it if we are not happy. That's what we have these kind of sites for! Shazza
