Glasgow Burns Night Sat 19th January 2008

Hi Everyone,

I have just listened to the highlights, had to wait a bit until All Angels were on but it was worth it.

I didn’t quite catch the name of the first song they performed, but the second song was an upbeat version of ‘Loch Lomond’, and the final song was ‘Ae Fond Kiss’ (I think?) which was absolutely beautiful, simply stunning!

Not knowing much about Robert Burns or Burns Night I found it quite an interesting programme overall.

Hi Dazza and everyone else,

I also listened to the highlights. Daisy, Charlotte and Melanie were really good and I enjoyed it a lot. The rest of the broadcast was interesting too. Its a shame that Laura was unable to go, as I've heard that Burn's supper celebrations are amazing. ;D
