According to the Songs of Praise factsheet, All Angels will be singing 'Ave Verum Corpus' on the programme to be broadcast on BBC2 this coming Sunday, 28th January. Many thanks to "Display Name: Peter" from the HWI forum for bringing this to our attention. Roger

Thanks for posting, Roger and Peter! It should be an interesting performance by All Angels, because the factsheet says it was filmed on location at Mount Stewart House, near Newtownards. It's a National Trust property open to the public, and full details are on the factsheet. Best Wishes, Richard

Just watched "The Angels" singing Ave Verum Corpus on Songs of Praise.
I thought their performance was exceptional as well as being very different and WOW! those dresses - absolutely stunning
Very, Very well done girls!
(Maybe we should be thinking about a favourite dress poll!!)

Thanks very much to Dave for making this video available so quickly. As ever, it is a fine performance. In case anyone is wondering, the location is Mount Stewart House in Northern Ireland.

I don't generally pick favourites, and I have to say I think all the girls are gorgeous, but the profile of Laura on the video - WOW what a beauty!

I have to say Grant, that there is some exquisite camera work and production in that video and normally, I wouldn't pick out any one of the girls as they are all very photogenic. But that profile shot of Laura took me by surprise, it is a beautiful image of peace and tranquility which is enhanced by the presence of Daisy in the background (even though she is out of focus). Here are two slightly different screenshots of it: Cheers, Dave

Oh! WOW Dave!!
Thank you so much for posting those two screen shots of Laura. Glad I'm not the only one that noticed.
I also see what you mean about the composition with Daisy out of focus in the background.
Thanks again
Grant

I loved the singing to the tune from Brideshead revisited, not heard this before. Nice to see the girls not wearing white!! I would liked to see them more 'relaxed' it was rather staged which I do realise they would have no say in. Dont think, as a group they could sing anything wrong. Beautiful Nicky

Hey Nicky, I agree with you - the performance etc., but there's something I don't understand. What do you mean by being more relaxed? As in more informal and less moving about in a choreographed way?
