Hi all! Thanks for the reviews and pictures all you lucky concert goers. It was nice to read them. I've just found out that I haven't posted anything for almost a year. So, now it gets time. It sounds as everyone had a great time on Thursday. ;D Reading the reviews it appeared to me that it was a concert similar to one of Hayley's, a nice venue, great music and a meet and greet at the end. I'd wished that I could have joined you. My first All angels concert, and until now only one, was their guest appearance at Cadogan Hall in September 2006. I hope there will be some chances to combine an All Angels concert with a Hayley one in a long weekend in the UK. This weekend would have been perfect but unfortuneately I don't have the possibility to come over. The next chance could be in April, 3rd All Angels in London and 5th Hayley in Buxton. But there's the time problem for me again. But at least I'm going to Buxton to see Hayley. Can't wait for more pictures. ;D I'm going to buy the new album for sure when I'm in the UK in two weeks. Otherwise Amazon must help me out. Best wishes, Thomas

Hello everyone, Thanks for the reports (saves me doing one except to say I thoroughly enjoyed the concert!) and photos! Just to prove I was there, I took a few photos myself during the concert. A few because we were warned by Steve Abbott before the concert to avoid using flash - or cameras that made a noise because Classic FM were recording it. Well he was talking about SLR cameras - which was exactly what Chris and I were using in row two! So we had to keep photos to a minimum and only take them during applause or loud sections of the music. Anyway, here are some that I took. The angles are similar to Chris's because I was sat next to him! More soon Cheers, Dave

I would be curious to know-- what were the names of the instrumental pieces? Hello Chantelle! The five accompanying musicians opened the concert with Sir Edward Elgar's 'Salut d'Amour', then they played Eva Cassidy's 'Fields of Gold' to begin the second set. Their instruments were two violins, viola, cello and grand piano. Many thanks to everybody for the reports and photographs, and welcome to the forum, James! ;D Now I'm looking forward to reliving the evening when the concert is broadcast on Classic FM. Best Wishes, Richard

Hello everyone I actually arrived at St James's just before 3pm and found Richard already there. We had a look round, chatted to some of the Bedlam people and actually spoke to the girls as they arrived. A little while later, they went up into the gallery for a photo shoot and I managed to grab some candids as they came back downstairs. I didn't manage to get Alex, and a couple aren't sharp as the camera didn't have time to fully re-focus each time, but anyway, here are the results. DaisyCharlotteLauraMelanie Best wishes Grant

Having read your post I now wish that I had gone down earlier too instead of wasting time trying to sleep! ;D

Thanks for the photos and reports everyone. Grant - I love the close ups, they are excellent quality and I definitely agree with you about Daisy giggling and smiling through the signing session - it seemed to be fun and not a chore at all to the girls.
I won't say much about the concert itself as Richard pointed out we shouldn't until Classic FM broadcast it. However, my memorable moments from my first (but definitely not last) All Angels concert:
1) Laura and Melanie exchanging lines (and high notes) at the end of Singing You Through. That was a real goosebumps moment.
2) Hearing Barcarolle - this song has connected with me far more since I heard it live and it's becoming one of my favourites from the first album.
3) The other 3 girls finishing off Charlotte's sentences for her, e.g; Charlotte: "this next one's called Make Me a Channel" One of the others (sorry, couldn't see who): "Of Your Peace!"
4) Briefly meeting the girls and getting a signed CD. I had a brief chat with Melanie as she signed it and she said how much they enjoyed the show but that she felt tired afterwards.
5) The enjoyment and camaraderie that a few others have already mentioned, exchanging looks and giggles on stage while remaining professional during the performance.
Only one complaint - no Sancte Deus (maybe next time).
Thanks girls - see you at St Pauls in April (if not before)!
