It truly was a wonderful concert and i was very excited to hear the news of the tour next year. I sat with the promoter of the concerts for next year and they have some very exciting things lined up. They said that they will be having private meet and greet sessions after the concerts with VIP seating and a Champagne reception with nibbles included in the VIP ticket price...how cool is that.... To pre-register for updates and the pre-release of VIP tickets register at www.pdplive.comSee you all soon

I wish I could see it when it's broadcasted- with the computer, who knows! I live in the wrong country fro ClassicalFM-nooo! Hi Northern Lights, Even if you lived in the UK, it is doubtful that you would be able to see it when it is broadcast for one very good reason... It is Classic FM radio! Roger That would make sense! I wonder- is there a ClassicFM radio player on the website that's easy to open?

When the AAI cohort arrived in the queue at St. James's I did wonder who you were - you knew each other, but obviously weren't a family party or a 'works outing'. But all is now clear - I only discovered this forum when I went surfing around after the concert, and at once recognised some of the faces.
It was my first live AA event and I was totally enthralled by it. I was there alone and didn't talk to anyone (I'm somewhat reserved) and it was a real anti-climax having to walk out of St. James's at the end and leave the melée of the girls signing behind. I needed to share my feelings with someone ! I've lashed out on VIP tickets for St. Paul's and have persuaded my daughter to come along for company (though it's not particularly her type of music).
I reckon the girls deserved a standing ovation for their concert, but I chickened out of being the first one to stand up. I thought the acoustics were wonderful - the next day I played both the AA CDs on my paltry double speakers and was somewhat disappointed - the memory of the live music was still in my head. At most other concerts I've been to you are hit wth a wall of sound, and while it is fun seeing live performances, the studio-recorded versions on CD are generally more enjoyable. AA at St James's was different - the live experience was everything you could hope for, and outshines the CDs.
At the end I plucked up courage to queue for my card to be signed and had a very few words with Daisy - I found her very charming to me. When I remarked that I love their harmonies, she replied that they have used 3-4 arrangers, but that having got the Paradise CD finished now, they are going to do some of their arrangements themselves.
Nobody yet seems to have mentioned that the recording of the St. James's concert is being broadcast this Saturday 22nd Dec on Classix FM at 20:00 (Radio Times).

Hi mcinwg, Thanks very much for advising us of the transmission date for this concert. I have begun a new thread on the Media board HERE. I'm sorry we didn't have the chance to meet at the concert. At least you will know us next time so please say hello. We always appreciate meeting up with other fans. Best wishes, Roger

Hi mcinwg,
Welcome to the forum, the St' James concert was also my first live experience too and I though that it was absolutely fantastic, much better than I was expecting, I can't wait to see them again tonight in Birmingham.
I hope that we can meet at future concerts.

Hello mcinwg, and welcome to the forum! I was also at St. James's Church, but it wasn't my first time to see All Angels. I'm really looking forward to hearing the concert again on Saturday, and I hope to meet you at another show soon. Best Wishes, Richard

It was announced at the beginning of the St. James's concert that there was an official photographer and that snaps would be made available.
In the interval I asked for details of this from several people and was referred to someone 'who would know'. I was told that photos would be posted on the AllAngelsOfficial website about 10 days after the concert.
So far the Gallery contains just the 25 pics that have been there for ages, and I can't see anything anywhere else on the site.
Has anyone got contacts in Universal to ask about this 'promise' ? The object of their announcement was to discourage noisy cameras, as the concert was being recorded, so I'm sure some people (me included) held off in the expectation of seeing the 'professional' photos.

Hi mcinwg,
We were asked not to reveal too much about the concert until it had been broadcast on Classic FM so perhaps they are also waiting until after then before releasing any official pictures?
