Hello everybody!  I don't know the story behind this, but I've just found two thumbnail photographs of Charlotte and Melanie standing by a post box, holding up giant Christmas stamps. You can see them at Rex Features HERE. I had to post them! :exit: Richard :jester: |

Hi Richard, Of course you had to *post* them. It was a First Class thing to do!  I don't know the story behind this either but, if you look closely, the girls are wearing ice skates! The mystery deepens!  Roger |

Well spotted Roger! I've done some research, and it appears the photographs were taken on the ice rink in the grounds of the Natural History Museum at South Kensington. Searching Rex Features for 'Natural History Museum' produces the same photographs, and I know the ice rink's there because I visited the museum last Tuesday! ;D Best Wishes, Richard  |

Those are cool pics!!! Thanks for posting them Richard!!!! What a place to put a post box hey!!!! So Charlotte and Melanie are ice skaters as well maybe??? Is there any end to their amazing talents?  ;D :applaud: Thats one ice-skating rink I wish I could have been on, and seeing as the last time I went on an ice-skating rink I couldn't even stand up thats saying something!!! Great photo! Perhaps Royal Mail had a photoshoot for an advert...nothing on their website though.
The stamps show Father Christmas sitting on a roof-top chimney. Perhaps someone in that house was playing their All Angels CD!
Now that's what I call first-class post Richard...Mind you don't slip on the ice exiting stage left :exit:
