The Open Doors is a short film based on The Open Window by Saki. Written and Directed by James Rogan, Produced by Kate McCullagh.

Set in Edwardian England, this is the story of VERA (Charlotte Ritchie) who entertains MR NUTTEL (Michael Sheen), a guest, in her AUNTIES house (Cherie Lunghi) while waiting for her uncle and cousins to return from a day out shooting.

The continuity for this film was relatively straightforward as we mainly shot in scene sequence, at one location. The only challenges faced were minor script changes which meant we either had to re–shoot a previous shot or cleverly incorporate the new shot into the scene without affecting the story or continuity.

I know I reviving an old thread so please forgive for that BUT I have never seen this Short and have always been trying to find it on YouTube or anywhere else.

Well, I finally found it on YouTube. I know most of you have probably seen it before BUT it was just that good I thought I would post a link so anyone else can view it if they wanted to

Charlotte was absolutely brilliant in this Short film. She looked stunning and as "Vera", she has one dark and evil mind!! Well done Charlotte. you were fantastic.
