Hello Belinda! I agree with you. It would sound great if each Angel sang a verse solo in turn, with all four harmonising in the chorus. No other backing would be required. Best Wishes, Richard

As I was reading the this thread I asked myself "Where have i heard a song that required angelic voices?" and the answer was easy. I remembered the duet version of "For Unto Us" done by Crystal & Natasha. All Angels could really soar with a 4 voice arrangement of that song and may be the 1st female group to sing it. For those that may not be familiar with C&N's version go to the video section on the following page and enjoy. www.crystalandnatasha.com/music.htmTom.

Hi Tom, I like your suggestion. Who knows, All Angels just may consider it. Incidentally, for anyone who is unaware, Natasha to whom Tom refers is a member of this forum, aka Tashi or Classicgrace. Roger

How about "City Called Heaven" (another spiritual)? One of my personal favorites...

I like "Wayfaring Stranger"...it's slightly spiritual.
If All Angels ever record a Christmas CD...I'd recommend a few songs..."Carol of the Bells" and "Carol of the Birds". Both songs would be brilliant either in four-part harmony or of each Angel sang a verse.
Cheers ;D Joe

"Dust in the Wind.” It’s a great song, and you should hear the soaring high notes that Stefanie Rose added. (stefanierose.com) its absolutely gorgeous and would be even more so with the girls four voices echoing each other! Yeah! :applaud: “Tears in Heaven,” is another one and the country song, “I Will Remember You” by Sarah McLachlan. “All Love Can Be” and “Dream a Dream” are Charlotte Church songs (well Billy Gilman on the second one as well) but I think the girls could easily make them their own! Other than that there were two songs Holly Stell recorded that are lovely, “Gone” and “Where there is love” (viewers of the show ‘Sue Thomas F.B.EYE’ may recognize that tune!). And two Jessica Andrews song, the haunting “God Don’t Give Up On Us” and “Unbreakable Heart.” I sooooo need to stop now, lol. I guess if I just had to pick one from the list above I would want them to sing "Unbreakable Heart." It's just so beautiful... and sad! Hugs everyone! Love, Your TashiP.S You can hear "Unbreakable Heart" and I think "God Don't Give Up on Us" through the radio section on: www.billyjessfanz.com - just keep scrolling down until you find it!

Ooh! I just thought of a perfect song!! (Can't believe it didn't cross my mind before today...) Has anybody here (besides me) heard the Judy Garland / Barbra Streisand duet, "Get Happy / Happy Days Are Here Again"? Wouldn't that be gorgeous if arranged for and recorded by the Angels?

I'd like to hear Lumi Miei Cari! That's a song that Izzy sang on her album Ascolta. I think it would be fantastic for the girls to sing...

Hi all, I would love to hear All Angels sing 'Salve' by Ronan Hardiman. I first heard Hayley Westenra sing it a few years ago, but I just found out what the song is called now. The song is from Hardiman's CD "Anthem" (also contains the song Heaven - later sung by and included in Hayley's "Pure" CD. ) amazon.com

Hello everybody! A few days ago I was in HMV in Oxford Street, and I listened to some excerpts from Vivaldi's 'Gloria'. Several of the arias would suit All Angels' four part harmony, notably 'Gloria In Excelsis Deo', Laudamus Te', 'Domine Deus' and 'Cum Sancto Spiritu'. If they teamed up with a small male voice choir, the girls could probably make an excellent recording of the whole oratorio. Best Wishes, Richard
