Hi all
Another noob here.
I have been a fan of the girls since the first album came out but have never seen them live. That will be put to rights on 4th April when they play the cathedral in my home town.
Hope to see some of you there
Keith

Hi Keith,
A very warm welcome to the fourm. I'm guessing you are the same Keithp from Katherine's forum. I am glad to see you join up and I hope you will enjoy posting here.
I look forward to seeing you at Coventry.

Welcome Keith,
There seems to be quite a lot of us from the Katherine Jenkins Forum. At least we all something in common - a good taste in music.
Have you voted yet for All Angels in the Classical Brit Awards?

Hi Keith, As I am closer to home than Dazza I may manage to get a report posted before him is that a challenge? ;D Although Stoke isn't too far from Coventry, there are no late trains back so I am staying in a hotel, then going straight to Buxton the next day, so I probably wont be posting a report and pictures until the Sunday. Hi Keith, As I am closer to home than Dazza I may manage to get a report posted before him is that a challenge? ;D Not a challenge but as I live less than 3 miles from the cathedral and I assumed you were driving back to Stoke, I hoped I would be home before you

I probably wont be posting a report and pictures until the Sunday. Dazza Are you expecting to be able to take photos during the performance or just non-show images ? I have never seen a performance like this in the cathedral so I don't know what restrictions they will have but I think getting good shots from anything other than the front row would be unlikely even without any security hassles

Hi Keith,
I don't know if we will be able to take some pictures during the performance but if we can, then I will do, I suppose we wont know for sure until the day. I will definitely get some pictures afterwards though.

I was told that we won't be allowed to take pictures during the performance, only for the VIP bit later on. Would be nice to though but don't think you can be sneaky right near the front!

Hi Becky,
If we don't use flash and try to be discreet we may be able to sneak a few photos in, although the likelihood is that if we are not allowed and as I will be taking notes I will just save photos for afterwards anyway.

I have tried to discretely take shots at other indoors venues with no flash, the camera in silent mode and all things like the AF-assist illumination switched off but someone always complains. Once at Symphony Hall, it was the guy seated next to us who complained to the theatre staff, and I wasn't affecting anyone. Sadly with a DSLR, you can't hide the camera completely

My camera's only little so i maybe could get some sneaky pics then, but i'd be afraid of getting found out, having my camera confiscated and then blowing my chances of definitely getting some good photos later on. Ohhh, what to do!!!!
