Hi Chantelle, Ah, we don't have favorites in the UK, only favourites with a "u" but you didn't ask that so that's me off the hook! Yea, yea, yea. lol Believe it or not, there are several words (fav. being one of them on occasion) that I find myself spelling the UK way, only to catch myself and think, wait, that's not "right" lol Must be because I read so many British books... Holmes and Wimsey will do that to you. lol Thanks so much for answering my question. I love the reasons you gave for Bleak Midwinter being your favo urite. You know, even though that one's not quite my favorite song from the album (Dank Sei dir Herr wins that prize), it's definitely my favourite recording!! (I gotta admit, that "u" does add some class. lol)

Update So! What's new with me... Since January, I've had a job at a local recording studio here in Manhattan, KS... the fellow who recorded me CD offered me a job! How cool is that?! I just love stuffing CD cases and editing tuba recitals... lol As of last night I am officially the soprano soloist in the song "I Must Tell Jesus" for the Golden Belt Vocal Festival 2007. There's an alto, and a tenor soloist, as well. This is the same group I performed "Great Day" with, in 2005. I'm so excited! =D And... in case you're interested, I now have a music MySpace where you can listen to all four songs from "Treetops Glisten"! www.myspace.com/chantelleconstableOh yes. And as for future plans... I've sent an aplication in to Tanglewood and I'm waiting to hear back from them! I'm seriously nervous...

Hi Chantelle, I had been wondering where you had got to but it seems you have been ery productive. Congratulations for your involvement in the Golden Belt Vocal Festival which I am sure will be great experience for you. Don't be nervous about Tanglewood. If you application is accepted, just enjoy every moment of it. Whatever comes out of it will be a bonus. I wish you the best of luck, of course. Roger

Update time! =) Most importantly, I wanted to let everyone know that from now until the end of May, I will be giving 100% of the proceeds from sales of my album "Treetops Glisten" to the Red Cross for the aid of the victims of the Greensburg, KS, tornado. Greensburg is practically in my backyard, as far as world tragedies go, (it's about a 3.5 hr drive away from home) and some dear friends of mine used to live there several years ago. Even if after buying my CD, you give it to your worst enemy (lol), please help me reach out to this small KS community. www.click-studios.com/music.htmlIn second, less significant news... I was not accepted into Tanglewood.... but oh well. This means I get to spend my summer here at home, which is always nice. =) And...... I made it to the finals of a local talent competition, "Junction City Idol!" The title itself went to a 16-year-old girl (she looked twelve! lol) who sang the ultimate crowd-pleaser: "I Will Always Love You." But I'm really proud of myself for even making it to the finals... and I was personally very pleased with my performance in the final competition. (I sang Frank Sinatra's "That's Life") <3 to everyone! -C

Thank you for the update, Chantelle. It is very generous of you to donate the proceeds of 'Treetops Glisten' to the Red Cross. I hope it will make a real difference to the lives of those who suffered. Sorry you didn't make it into Tanglewood but I am sure other opportunities will come you way. Congratulations for reaching the final of the local talent competition. Years ago, Hayley Westenra reached several finals but didn't quite win but she seems to have done okay! Best wishes, Roger

Hey all! Sorry it's been so long... but the sad truth is, there hasn't been any news for me to share! However, that's slowly starting to change... but rather than try to bring you up to speed with a long ramble detailing all of the minute things that have added up to the current state of the union (what did I say about not rambling? haha) I'll just ask you, if you're at all interested, to read my blog: www.click-studios.com/blogWhere I've been posting all new developments as they occur. At this point I really, really need feedback from fans like you, so please don't hesistate to leave a comment! Thanks & Love, Chantelle
