Gardar Thor Cortes

I realized that most of you are probably already aware of this fabulous young tenor... (If not, I'll be happy to wax enthusiastic! lol)

This post is actually for the purposes of pleading for help with my fansite: www.gardarwiki.com
I can do all of the "gleaning" after an event has taken place. I can post pictures, and link to press articles. What I can't do is actually catch the performances and appearances!
So I humbly beg (okay, sorry, I'll try not to sound too desperate! lol) That is to say, I wonder if the wonderful people who capture all of All Angels's television/radio appearances might do the same for Gardar? Here is his upcoming schedule:

Hello Chantelle,

Well it's mostly me who does the video and audio captures for AAI and of course, I also do them for HWI - which is currently taking up a lot of my free time as it is being redeveloped.

I will try to record the Loose Women TV performance for you as a one-off but at this early stage I can't promise... it's in my diary though! Recording radio is harder as I have to be around at the time, I cannot do it automatically - so it's unlikely I will be able to help with them.

I'll do my best with the TV show though

I did record this song today and I will process it for upload later tonight and post the link here. They announced him as "Cortes" and he sang Bedshaped.

If you manage to get it from another source before then, please let me know as it would save me a lot of time editing converting and uploading it.

There's no hurry for you to convert & upload it yet tonight; I'll check around tomorrow (Saturday) to see if anyone else caught it, and I'll let you know then, okay?

You know something funny: it always gives me pause-- seeing him referred to as "Cortes." I'm so used to today's celebrities being generally known by their first name, that I always have to stop and remind myself that, after all, we don't go around saying "Luciano" and "Placido"... we say "Pavarotti" and "Domingo."

Must have had Vittorio Grigolo on the mind (interview/concert with Hayley Westenra!)... it was Hunting High and Low

Phew! That's a relief... I must admit, I did about twenty double-takes when I saw... that other song title. *a-ha* (there! ;D)

Well, I haven't seen the Loose Women video anywhere that I would usually pick up Gardar media... but I would feel positively awful if I gave you the "go-ahead" and you went to all that work, and then I found the video somewhere else a day later! So... I don't know which would be more of a nuisance for you-- waiting to see if someone else does the work, or getting it over with? I'll leave it entirely up to you. I certainly don't mind waiting, if that's less bother!

But as it's you I've done the video anyway - it was an excellent way to test out my brand new shiny multi gigahertz computer and software! ;D
