Hi Everyone, I have arrived back from an absolutely wonderful weekend in Jersey and the concert was FANTASTIC!!! I really enjoyed it and thought that Katherine was excellent, it was the first time that I had seen her perform live and I was expecting it to be good, but it by far exceeded any expectations that I had, she was simply wonderful. Both the orchestra and Nicky Spence were excellent. What a character Nicky Spence is, he could make a career in stand up comedy never mind as a singer. In the second half he wore a kilt and when Katherine came back on afterwards she said that she loves a man who tries to upstage her dresses!! ;D It was a wonderful concert, particularly the second half, I loved how Katherine and the conductor Anthony Inglis (who is also very funny) got the audience involved by clapping and singing along. It was just as amazing experience. It was fantastic meeting Katherine afterwards and was definitely the icing and the cherry on the cake of what was a wonderful evening. Katherine was absolutely delightful and so enthusiastic about meeting everybody, I just wish I had the nerves to have said more to her. I had my picture taken with her and she signed her new book and the programme which I am going to frame. Finally, I didn’t take many pictures myself, but I do have this one… ;D Dazza

Hi Dazza
Pleased to hear that you enjoyed your first Katherine Jenkins concert. I have to say Katherine was on fine form at Fort Regent with a very polished performance.
Being able to meet Katherine after the concert was brilliant. Katherine always makes time to see everybody, sign programmes, CD's, her book etc and poses for photographs.
A fantastic night all round, just a shame we didn't get to spend more time having a chat. Hopefully next time my friend.
All the best Graham

Hi Everyone, I had the pleasure of meeting Katherine again today when she was doing a signing for her autobiography 'Time To Say Hello' in Cardiff. Now you might think that I am crazy for going all the way to Cardiff and back to a book signing for a book which I have already got signed, however I had other intentions. I have done a drawing of Katherine which you can see here - img.photobucket.com/albums/v297/dazza_stoke/newKJdraw.jpgKatherine signed the drawing for me and I also gave her a copy too. She was very complimentary about it which really made my day. On top of that I got a second copy of a signed book too. Unfortunatly there were no photographs, they (not Katherine) were rushing us along as she had another signing to do in Swansea later in the day. Dazza

Hi Dazza
I don't think you mad at all for going to Cardiff for a signing. Also, I think your drawing of Katherine is amazing - no wonder she was impressed!
No doubt you will be getting it framed?
Best wishes Grant

Hi Graham,
I am looking forward to it. It's Viva la Diva next which I am excited about. I am no longer going to the O2 Arena though and have booked for the MEN Arena in Manchester instead.

Hi Dazza
The MEN Arena is a bit nearer to home, I am off to see VLD at Sheffield. No doubt I will see you at one or possibly more of the summer picnic concerts.
All the best Graham :-)

Like Dazza, I was introduced to classical music by Katherine and have seen her perform live on 2 occassions now. It was also through the Katherine Jenkins Forum that I heard about AA and they have a very bright future indeed. I hope to see more of them in the years to come.
Dazza, I wonder where I have seen that photo before? Like you seeing and meeting Katherine in Jersey is an unforgettable experience.
