Especially managers who now know I'm here with a vengeance!

I personally find the blue subject head against particularly the lighter green hard to read. In fact I rely on the post repeat underneath in black to read. Could this not be white letter out?

Just for information, although this might be due to bandwidth currently 'bought', I tried to access the Concert Schedule (circa 5:00pm today 1/11/06) to be asked to come back in thirty seconds as there were too many accesses.

Whether this was to the board or that particular thread only the managers will know. The implication is that demand is growing even if it is due to initial restrictions under-estimating likely demand.

Three, in case it is relevant. This thread started wit my second paragraph when I realised I had added 'Hi!' to the original title by mistake. There should be only the one thread of 'General layout and accessing' as I did not think my comment on accessing deserved a separate thread and I also wished to remove the 'Hi!' bit!

Especially as now I have posted I find what I intended doing hasn't worked as I intended!

Hi Peter,

I will take a look at the forum colours when time permits but changing the colour in one place usually results in the same change occuring elsewhere (which is likely to cause further difficulties). If any change can be made with no adverse effect, it shall be done.

The message which invited you to come back in 30 seconds is something which is much less frequent now than it used to be. It is, indeed caused by excessive demand but not specifically to this forum or any part thereof. It is excess trafiic on all ProBoards66 (in this case) forums and, like so many things in life, is totally beyond our control.

I know you occasionally have diverse comment and it would be wrong to respond immediately to any suggestion without giving it the chance to mature and also to see if it provokes other thoughts or any reactions against.

After all, it is only a suggestions thread!

Hi Peter,

I have made it a slightly stronger green and a slightly brighter yellow which, hopefully, improves the contrast whilst retaining the original colour scheme.

Is that any better?
