I note that the penultimate paragraph mentions that they have performed in St Paul's Cathedral. That is news to me. Does anyone recall seeing anything about that?

Many thanks for the article. Certainly the EADT is giving the girls some good coverage, as is the Shropshire Star in Melanie's home county. Charlotte and Daisy, don't they have local papers where you come from?

I had hoped to add a few more sales to the singles total yesterday (as I am sure overseas members of this forum would have liked them) but no stores in my home town stock singles!

Yes its a shame that there are not more local papers getting involved, most shops around here were sold out of the new single all week, I am sure thats the work of the EADT and its campaign.

I think I have seen some coverage for Daisy but not a lot for Charlotte. Perhaps we should start bombarding her local press in London with Press Releases. :exit:

Have a good Christmas and may 2007 be equally eventfull as 2006 was!

Hello Steve, Roger and everybody!

I've also noticed the lack of press coverage for Charlotte. It may be because London is so big, and we don't really have local celebrities here in the same way as Laura and Melanie are in Suffolk and Shropshire. Daisy certainly gets quite a bit of attention in the Scotsman, so perhaps we should start a campaign for Charlotte! ;D

Thanks for the article... and the big print version too, which I needed! ;D

It is nice to have the update, including sales information that's quite hard to come by at this time of year. I will filter it through to one or two of the 'chart freaks' forums that I visit.

What a wonderful gesture to make a donation from the album proceeds too - they may suspect (as I do) that many people who heard "Angels" decided to buy the album instead of the single. Well done to All Angels ... and Universal records too!

PS I'm thinking that this thread's mostly about the "Angels" single and it would be best placed in the "Angels" single board so I've slightly renamed it and moved it there. I'll leave a link in the Media board so that everyone can easily find it!

I noticed in the article it said that they "are looking to go into the studio and record a special edition of their album." Does that mean that they won't release a whole new album but just the same one with a few more songs?

Hi Meagan,

The short answer to that is that we just don't know. Based on our experience with Hayley (and others) that is quite likely but it doesn't necessarily mean there won't be a completely new album later next year as well. I was led to believe that there would be. As soon as we hear anything, you will be the first to know!
