Hi Shauna, I hope you find a way because we never know how long we have to wait for another appearance in London. Unfortunately, if you haven't booked it yet, you may find it difficult as the deadline has now passed. Try emailing Sarah though as you may be lucky. sarah[at]spongemarketing.com Good luck, Roger

Hi Roger Have a great time on Saturday (also Shauna if she can make it), I am only disappointed that I am unable to attend. Enjoy the music and I think there is also something happening with horses? Best wishes Martin

Unfortunately I cannot go to this concert! I was really looking forward to it but I just don't have enough money at the moment. Hopefully there will be another London concert really soon. xxx

Thanks Martin. It looks as though I will be the only member of this forum to attend this event. I will provide a report as soon as I can when I get home. Sorry to hear you won't make it Shauna because I think I once promised you a photograph of you with the girls. I will now have to take one of them with a gap in between so you can photoshop an image of you into it! Roger

Hi Roger, I'm so sad I can't go! I will be looking forward to your report and photos, if you get some. I will get that promised photo eventually, don't worry. As Dazza said, pass our regards on to the girls, and our regrets that we couldn't be there. Hope you have fun Roger. xxx

Hi everyone, I'm back! Well, what a concert that was... except that "concert" is, perhaps, not quite the right word for it. I wonder if it is a unique event in that it combines live classical performances with an equestrian display. This annual even is held in a large converted barn in the Pony Centre with seating long three sides and a small plinth on the fourth for the performers. The central area is a sand-covered arena where horses trot and canter, in many cases with handicapped children riding them. This takes place to the accompaniment of the music throughout most of the show. I think the only time when horses were not in evidence was during All Angels' performance. I should explain that, sadly, one of our Angels was missing. Laura will be taking the last of her exams in the next few days and therefore All Angels performed as a trio. They asked me afterwards how it sounded. Although I missed Laura, I was able assure them that, for anyone who didn't know them, they would not have realised there should be another member. My other disappointment was that they only performed three songs: John Brunning's 'Pie Jesu', 'Lift Thine Eyes (to the Mountains)' from Mendelssohn's 'Elijah' (yes, that is a new song for them!) and 'Songbird'. I chatted to Charlotte, Melanie and Daisy on at least three separate occasions during the afternoon and yes, I passed on all your messages! It was particularly diappointing that I was the only forum member present. Nevertheless, I was not alone as I was joined by Libby, "elizabeth786" from the HWI forum. Sorry, my camera cannot cope with the poor light in a concert setting. Shortly after the event, I was about to take a picture of the girls when Steve Abbott confiscated my camera. Here is the result: I had no idea that he took more than one until I got home but it seems he did: Good luck for your exams, Laura and I'll see you all next month! Roger

Hi Roger,
Thanks for your report and excellent pictures. I'm glad that you enjoyed the 'concert'.
It sounds like it was a very interesting event and such a shame that I wasn't able to go.

Hello Roger,
I'm very pleased that you were in attendance at this event. Nice to see Libby there too. Many thanks to you (and Steve Abbott) for the photos.
I'm sure your best wishes, Roger, were passed on to Laura. Glad that she is keeping up with revision for her exams.
Best wishes, Joe

I'm a bit late in replying (been caught up with Wimbledon. YAY! ), but thanks for the report Roger, and the pictures (and to Steve Abbott). Glad you had a great time, i'm disappointed that I missed it. I hope that Laura did well in her exams, and if she is still doing them I wish her good luck. xxx

Hi Roger! Thank you for the review. I'm glad you made it to the event and that you had Elizabeth to accompany you. I'm sure you enjoyed the concert although they sang "just" 3 songs. I hope Laura passed all her exams. See you next month. Thomas
