Hi i think All Angels are really beautiful singers I have been trying to find words of Agnes Dei cant seem to find them anywhere can anyone help thanks

Did you know that All Angels will be performing their first concert in Ireland, in Dublin on 1st August?

Here are some extracts...

Based upon John the Baptist's reference in John 1:29 to Jesus ("Behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world"), the text in Latin is:

Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi, miserere nobis.
Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi, miserere nobis.
Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi, dona nobis pacem.

which means:

Lamb of God, who take away the sins of the world, have mercy upon us.
Lamb of God, who take away the sins of the world, have mercy upon us.
Lamb of God, who take away the sins of the world, grant us peace.

This liturgical text has been set to music by many composers, usually as part of a Mass setting, but sometimes it stands alone, e.g. it is the lyrics for the choral arrangement of Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings.

Hi everyone

Thought it was appropriate to start in this thread.

I've been a fan of All Angels for a few months now, ever since I heard their version of The Flower Duet.

Looking forward to keeping up to date with their careers here on AAI forum.

Does anyone know if they will be returning to Ireland in the near future?
