G'day all, Thanks once again Dazza for this amazing opportunity to help support the Girls and also the fans, even for the other side of the planet. I'm really looking forward to being able to help you and Steve run this forum. Also, I just want to say a big thanks to Roger, Richard, drew, Dave and anyone else who helped get this forum (and the now closed AAI site!) to what it is/was today and to wish them all the best. Thanks all you have done a fantastic effort over the last few years. :applaud: :applaud: :applaud: :applaud: Cheers, Chris

Hi Richard Don't know if you will get this in time. It is Alice /Daisy's mum/ writing. Daisy is singing a lunchtime concert today Thursday at King's College Strand Campus Great Hall at 1.10 pm. She is doing classical folk and art songs from Brazil and Spain with her Scottish guitarist. Alice

Hi everyone Just wanted to add my congratulations firstly to Dazza as new site owner. I know you will continue to do a great job Dazza and I wish you all the best of luck with the forum. Congratulations to Steve & Chris too and all the best in your new roles. As a supporter of the girls since the beginning, it seems a long time ago since some of us stood outside Cadagan Hall to be told that the girls were replacing Aled Jones in that particular concert. I believe that was thier first public appearance. I also remember Daisy saying 'Hi' to me and then all the girls gathering for some photos - seems like yesterday - it was actually more than 2 years ago. Thanks for the info Alice (Daisey's mum) about her performance today - I know that if Richard sees your post in time he will do his best to go. Unfortunately, its to far for me at such short notice -hope it goes well for her Best wishes Mark

I have searched the KCL and KCLSU sites and can see no mention of the concert. I am sure that Daisy and Simon will bring the some sunshine to a chilly Strand. PS. Bringing this thread back on topic, good luck to Dazza, Steve and Chris.

Hi All,
I have just returned from my first of three 'River of Dreams' tour concerts at Newcastle-upon-Tyne with Hayley Westenra, so I have been off line for a few days.
Thank you all for your kind wishes and I look forward to working with Dazza and Chis in the future.
Kind Regards
Steve.

G'day Steve, Hope you enjoyed the concert I was just looking at the HWI forums yesterday and noticed that Hayley has been singing 'Songbird'. I wouldnt mind hearing her version of it, IF by some chance anyone happened to record it. I'll have to keep lurking the HWI forums (maybe even sign up!!!) until I find it! Chris
