Hi Richard,
Many thanks for posting the information.
They got their facts wrong in the article, the concert at The Quarry was with Russell Watson only, not Katherine Jenkins.
As it's on a Saturday and I don't have to worry about work, and that I can get trains back to Crewe, it is very likely that I will go to this concert.

Hi Everyone, This concert has been confirmed by the TCB Group and has now been added to the new 2009 Concert Schedule. I have also found some extra information on the Shrewsbury School website HERE. It says that the concert will be taking place in The Chapel which is located just to the left of the main school building. For a map of the school and how to get there, click HERE. Dazza

I am hoping they something a little neared London in the near future - fingers crossed everybody!

Hi Steve,
Sorry that you won't be there, I am not 100% sure I can make it myself yet and won't until I am paid at the end of the month, but I am hopeful, especially as it is not far for me to go.
I'll keep my fingers crossed Steve... for more concerts in the Midlands/North West ;D

Hi Everyone,
I hope all this snow isn't going to affect the concert on Saturday, it is very heavy here in Stoke this morning which isn't far from Shrewsbury.
More snow is forecast tomorrow and Saturday but if it doesn't subside then I may struggle to get there.

I suggest that the girls wear the red dresses on Saturday. I would hate to see them lost in the snow.
Anyone for Snow Angels?

Hi Everyone, I have just arrived back from a wonderful concert at Shrewsbury School, it is actually my first concert since I saw the girls in Dublin in August and it was fantastic to see them again. Here is the set list… The Flower Duet Lift Thine Eyes Barcarolle Simple Gifts Sull Aria Nothing Compares 2 U Songbird INTERVAL Sancte Deus Pie Jesu Black is the Colour Singing You Through Swing Low Windmills of yoru Mind Make me a Channel of your Peace Encore – Sound of Silence As you can see there are two new songs there, ‘Black is the Colour’ is going to be on the new album and was just wonderful, it is something quite different for the girls from their usual style and is something I could imagine Hayley singing, it was fantastic. ‘Simple Gifts’ was also excellent but it wasn’t indicated if it would be included on the new album or not. I had a chance to speak to the girls afterwards, the new album will hopefully be out for may and there should be some more concerts towards the summer too which I am already looking forward to. I didn’t have the best view for photographs but I managed to take a few, although unfortunately I wasn’t able to take any of the girls afterwards, but here they are. Dazza

Thanks Dazza. Glad you (and the girls) could make it through the snows.
It is good to know that there is new music on the horizon (although there is nothing wrong with the old)!
I presume that Simon Lole was MD, as he said that he was on his was to Shrewsbury.
Was it Pavao in support?
Did you manage to meet Jodi?

Hi Drew,
Yes, the Pavao Quartet was in support and were excellent, they performed a musical peice in each half, Somewhere Over The Rainbow and I didn't recognise the other one. As ever, Simon Lole was fantastic on the piano.
I didn't meet Jodi, I couldn't see anybody who looked like they were from the TCB Group. When I met the girls afterwards only Melanie's father was there.

Thanks for the photos and review Dazza. I'm certainly looking forward to the new Album. Charlotte and Daisy changed Dresses. Pity you couldn't get to see/talk Jodi and be able to introduce yourself and AAI. But maybe next time
