Hi Everyone, Another Forestry Commisson concert, this time with Katherine Jenkins at Delamere Forest in Cheshire. I may well go to this, especially as Delamere Forest is only 20 miles away from me and I like Katherine Jenkins too. From The Chester Chronicle: Dazza

Thanks for the info guys - it is just frustrating that it seems we're all 'fishing about' just to find out this information from a variety of sources. If it wasn't for this forum we'd have very little information as the official website is rarely updated. The new Management Team have a wider plan I guess - just wish they'd share it with us - why the low profile?? OK I've had my rant - I'm off now to enjoy the sunshine.... :exit:

Hi Carl,
I know it is frustrating. I would have loved to have been in Jersey for tonights concert, but we only found out about the concert earlier this month which gave me no time to plan or save. It is UCJ who is responsible for updating the official website and from my experience with UCJ websites it is not just All Angels which lacks regular updates. Hopefully the new album will bring a new look and more regular updates.
Anyway, even though it hasn't been confirmed yet, I have just booked my ticket for the concert at Delamere Forest.

Thanks Dazza for the news about the Delamere concert - I so wish I'd booked for this concert instead now!! I have had tickets booked for a while now for the other of Katherine's Forestry Commision concerts at Bedgebury in 2 weeks time - I'm really keeping my fingers crossed that All Angels will be appearing here also as no support guests appear to have been announced yet - I wondered if you had heard any more news about other possible appearances by the girls this summer?
Thanks
Mark

Hi Mark, On the third album information which I posted here it says that "Be the first to hear tracks from the new album by seeing the girls support Katherine Jenkins this summer" it doesn't mention Delamere specifically which to me hints at more than one concert supporting Katherine. We haven't heard any news on any other concerts yet, but as soon as we do it will be listed on the forum. Hopefully there will still be a few more concerts announced for this summer. Dazza

Thanks Dazza, I have really thought hard about this one as I would like to see Katherine live again too, but alas it's just too far from Suffolk, I will have to wait until the girls get a bit closer to home! Cheers Steve

Hi Drew, Two updates in just over a week, we must be blessed! I am not able to book the time off work for Bedgebury and Wisley, Gatcombe's a possibility, but I will be recovering from my operation and I don't know what state I am in. So it looks like it is just Delamere for me. I have had all of the dates confirmed now so I will create seperate threads for them. Dazza

To Dazza and anyone else going to Delamere tomorrow - hope you have a great time. Looking forward to your reports and seeing any photos you take. Last time I looked at the forecast, the weather was looking quite good for Sunday.

Hi Everyone,
It was a fantastic concert at Delamere last night and the girls were just wonderful. During the first half the weather was glorius but the heavens opened up for the second half. Only in England can you get sunburn and a good soaking in the same day! ;D
The girls sung the same songs as last week...
First Half Flower Duet Blowing in the Wind Barcarolle
Second Half Singing You Through Sound of Silence
The girls new song 'Blowin' in the Wind' is absolutely beautiful and much better than I imagined it would be, even after Mark's report last week. I am looking forward to the new album even more now.
I got the chance to meet and speak with the girls during the interval and they signed my St George's Cross for me, which luckily I managed to rescue from the second half downpour.
I have plenty of pictures to sort through and I will post them tonight when I get home from work.
