Anyone going to Birmingham now has the added bonus of Camilla Kerslake. Enjoy.
After meeting Thomas Spencer-Wortley at the Il Divo concert on 7th December, Camilla had hoped to appear with TSW at St. John's.

Hi Drew,
That is great news, I have been very impressed by Camilla Kerslake.
Just hope the trains are running and I can get there now, weve been issued a weather warning for Sunday and snow has been forecast for Monday too.

Hi Everyone,
Firstly, apologies for the delay in the concert report. I arrived back home at around 12.45am and had to be up at 5.30am today for work.
It was well worth it though as the concert was very enjoyable and the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit. It is the longest concert that I have been to with each half lasting just over an hour.
Here is the set list…
Concert Opening – TSW Ensemble You Raise Me Up – Thomas Spencer-Wortley Chi Vince Porta Via – Thomas Spencer-Wortley Gira Con Me – Thomas Spencer-Wortley I’ll Fly Away – All Angels Like A Prayer – All Angels Hallelujah – Thomas Spencer-Wortley I Know Him So Well – Mairead Carlin & Natalie Hope My Love – Mairead Carlin & Natalie Hope Credere – Thomas Spencer-Wortley Ave Maria – Thomas Spencer-Wortley Les Miserables Medley – Everyone (except Camilla)
INTERVAL
A Twist On Paganini – TSW Ensemble Panis Angelicus – Thomas Spencer-Wortley Suo Gan – Thomas Spencer-Wortley Ice Dance – All Angels Christmas Medley – All Angels Stille Nacht (Silent Night) –Thomas Spencer-Wortley When A Child Is Born – Thomas Spencer-Wortley & Camilla Kerslake How Can I Keep From Singing – Camilla Kerslake Do You Hear What I Hear? – Thomas Spencer-Wortley & Natalie Hope All I Want For Christmas Is You – Natalie Hope Christmas Lullaby – Mairead Carlin At This Time of Year – Thomas Spencer Wortley O Come All Ye Faithful – Everyone & Audience O Holy Night – Everyone
Encore – White Christmas – Everyone
It was wonderful to see the girls again, after my last concert in July. In the first half they performed I’ll Fly Away, the title track from the upcoming new album, Fly Away and a version of Madonna’s ‘Like A Prayer’ which they have been performing on the recent Young Voices tour, it was something a little different from the girls and I really enjoyed it.
In the second half they performed the Ice Dance, which is the theme tune to Edward Scissorhands, and also an a cappella medley of Christmas songs including Ding Dong Merrily On High. The girls also took part the Les Miserables Medley, O Come All Ye Faithful, O Holy Night and White Christmas.
As well as All Angels, there was a wonderful array of talent on display. Thomas Spencer-Wortley was superb. His music isn’t new to me having followed him over the past year but it was the first time I had seen him perform live and I was very impressed.
I was also extremely impressed with Camilla Kerslake who I was also seeing for the first time, I have her album and have been playing it quite a lot recently so it was a very pleasant surprise when it was announced at the weekend that Camilla was going to be performing.
Mairead Carlin and Natalie Hope were very good along with the Midnight Quartet and the TSW Ensemble who were excellent.
Someone who also deserves a mention is Thomas’ brother Oliver Spencer-Wortley, who has written or arranged a lot of the songs in the performance including All Angels version of the Ice Dance.
There was a signing afterwards and it was lovely to meet the girls again, as well as Thomas and Camilla. I got the programme signed but unfortunately I couldn’t stick around for photographs, as I had to catch my train. I do have photographs of the performance though which I will post later.
