Hi Dazza
Enjoy the concert tonight and, if you get the chance, could you say that Stephany and I are sorry the Manchester event was cancelled and that we had been looking forward to seeing them again (well I wos' It would have been a first for Stephany)

Hi Grant,
I will do!
I am posting from an internet cafe in Buxton, I have found the Opera House easily enough and took a few photo's.
It's a bit dark for photographs but it looks a nice place. One thing I have noticed - There seems to be plenty of pubs! ;D

Hi Everyone, I have just arrived back from Buxton where I have had a wonderful evening watching the girls perform at the Opera House. Buxton Opera House is a lovely venue which is beautifully decorated inside. It also seemed quite small and even though I was quite a few rows back I had an excellent view. The girls were fantastic, I have seen them perform a few times now and they just get better every time. I was chatting to Alice and John Chute (Daisy’s parents) during the interval and they told me that a few of the girls were just recovering from colds and were having to switch roles sometimes which for me just made the performance even more impressive. Here is the set list… Swing Low Barcarolle Make Me A Channel of Your Peace Steal Away Sull Aria Salve Regina Nothing Compares 2 U In Paradisum Singing You Through INTERVAL Flower Duet Ave Verum Corpus Angels Songbird Ave Maria ENCORE Sound Of Silence There was a surprise after the interval when the girls came out not wearing the usual white dresses. Melanie & Charlotte were wearing red dresses and Daisy & Laura both in black dresses. It made a change but the girls looked fantastic. I have been to a few All Angels concerts now and have met the girls a few times so they know who I am but I certainly wasn’t expecting what was to come. When they said they were going to dedicate the next song a member of the audience, it really was a pleasant surprise when they mentioned my name. The song was ‘Songbird’ and it was a lovely performance, it really was special and really made my day, it was so thoughtful. Thanks Girls!! There was no signing afterwards unfortunately, but Alice and John very kindly took me through the stage door so I could quickly meet and say thank you to the girls, and also for a quick photo too. It was a really memorable evening. THANK YOU ALL ANGELS!! Dazza

Hi Roger,
Most definitely, it turned out to be a very special evening for me.
Shauna, I wouldn't exactly call it a private meeting but I was very lucky to have been able to spend a few minutes with the girls, just to thank them for the song dedication and to get a quick photo. I am very thankful to Alice and John, as well as the girls themselves for allowing me the oppertunity. I really appreciated it.

Hi Dazza,
Thanks for the report, sounds like a great evening. I'm looking forward to seeing the girls at St Pauls in April even more now and Buxton sounds a good venue for another concert I have planned a few days after.
It seems that they appreciate and recognise your support, as did Daisy's parents. You'll soon be the most prolific poster on this forum at this rate! How many times have you seen the Angels now?

Hi Dazza, I am pleased that it all went well for you on the night, did you get any pictures during the concert? I hope so? :applaud: I would love to see one of the new dresses, I hope they wear them at St Paul's, which is when I next see them. Cheers for now Steve.

Hi Steve,
Unfortunatly not, they said no cameras so I didn't want to risk it, it's a shame really as there was nobody sitting in the seat in front of me and I had a quite a good view.

Now that's what I call personal treatment! Not only did you have a song dedication and a private photo shoot, the theatre also arranged for you to have an uninterrupted view! Martin
