I saw this the other day and I have booked tickets. I am hoping to become quite a regular at concerts I think.

I'm going to sacrifice England games I think, I'll probably spend less money that way anyway.

Still hoping for Huddersfield yet, I need to check my finances come December and hope there are tickets left.

Incredible line-up of top stars

BUXTON Opera House has announced its Spring season programme, from January to June 2008.
The new brochure is jam-packed, highlighting a staggering 249 performances and more famous names than ever before.

Comedy features heavily with legendary and established acts including the hilarious Jon Culshaw, Jimmy Tarbuck, Ken Dodd, Dave Spikey, Omid Djalili, Stewart Lee, Dara O'Briain, Sean Lock and Paul Merton.

There will be debut shows from up-and-coming new comics including the 'next-big-thing' Russell Howard and the cruelly funny Pam Ann.

Buxton Opera House's annual Four-Four Time Festival of Live Music which is taking place in February, has announced its most impressive and diverse line-up yet; performers will include Marc Almond, Richard Hawley, Michelle Shocked, All Angels, Bill Wyman, Boy George and The Stranglers.

People who miss any of those shows will be able to see more musical delights throughout the rest of the season including Paul Carrack, Faye Tozer, Seth Lakeman, Lorna Luft, The Zombies and The Yardbirds, Kate Rusby, Foster and Allen, Andy Prior and Steeleye Span.

Children will be catered for by Treasure Island, The Sooty Show, Rupert Bear and Shakespeare 4 Kidz – with Hamlet, among others.

The Moscow State Circus, Beauty and the Beast on Ice, An Evening with Jacqueline Wilson and Angelina Ballerina are just some programmed for younger and older people to enjoy together as a family.

The new season is also packed with drama including The Dresser, Dad's Army, The Naked Truth, Daisy Pulls It Off, Two, Doctor in the House, Our House, The Kaos Dream and The Tempest.

Opera fans have choices like The Magic Flute, Donizetti's Anna Bolena, Don Giovanni and The Mikado.

Ballet and Dance lovers will be treated to The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Simply Ballroom, Satisfaction and Thriller Live.

Other diverse guests include the legendary Derren Brown, The Circus of Horrors, John Hegley, Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, Eric Knowles and even Michael Portillo.

No, All Angel's presense at this event has not been confirmed by Bedlam Management. Grant first found the information on the venue's website which doesn't necessarily guarantee anything.

For the benefit of anyone who doesn't realise, when appearances are confirmed by their managers, we state it clearly within the thread. Because some threads run to many pages, that important information is not always easy to locate. A better way of checking would be to refer to the Schedules board (for the appropriate year). Usually, we only add events to the Schedule when it is confirmed. In very rare circumstances, we may add it anyway but we would state very clearly "UNCONFIRMED" in the last column.

If I don't hear anything from Bedlam in the meantime, I will endeavour to find out the latest situation when I see them next week.

I don't think it is right that they should be selling tickets for events which are not even confirmed. At least I know now to be more careful when booking in the future.

I have been wondering this too, as I will be looking at sorting my train tickets out within the next few weeks for this concert.

I can't wait to see the girls performing live again, so I certainly hope it is going ahead. I notice that it is still listed on the Buxton Opera House website with tickets still available.

ANGELIC SOUNDS SET TO GRACE THE OPERA HOUSE

All Angels will be making their debut performance at Buxton Opera House on Wednesday, February 20.

Melanie Nakhla, Charlotte Ritchie, Laura Wright and Daisy Chute are the world's first female classical supergroup, with a repertoire spanning classical, choral, opera and pop.

Their profile has continued to grow at a rapid pace.



Following the great success of their first album, the fastest-selling debut album for a classical act, All Angels sang at the Classical Brits 2007 having been nominated for Best Album.

They've shared stages with Russell Watson and Katherine Jenkins and have unleashed their collective lung-power in support of the England rugby team at several crucial international matches.

Their latest album, Into Paradise, is currently riding high in the classical album charts.

The performance begins at 7.30pm.
