Nottingham City Council is bringing an afternoon of classical music to the city's beautiful Wollaton Park.
The internationally renowned Hallé orchestra will be headlining the day with a sensational line up of classical music and memorable film scores on Sunday 25 July from 2pm.
Ticket Information
Founded in Manchester by Sir Charles Hallé (1858), the Hallé is Britain's longest-established professional symphony orchestra, performing classical music around Britain and overseas for more than 150 years.
This year the Hallé, BBC Philharmonic and the Royal Northern College of Music were awarded the South Bank Show classical music award with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra for 'Nielsen: Inextinguishable', a collaboration celebrating the work of Carl Nielsen.
Accompanying the Hallé is Natasha Marsh – the Welsh operatic soprano signed to EMI. A highly acclaimed performer, Natasha has toured with well known artists such as G4, Russell Watson and ll Divo and her debut album, Amour, topped the classical album charts in 2007.
Just announced are all girl group All Angels, who launched to fame in 2006. This stellar vocal quartet delivers a seductive crossover of music. With a repertoire spanning classical, choral, opera and pop, their beautiful four part harmonies combine into a unique and entrancing sound.

Councillor David Trimble, Portfolio Holder for Leisure, Culture and Customers for Nottingham City Council said:
''It's really great that as a Council we can provide a range of events and entertainment to meet the various interests and tastes of people who live, work, study or visit Nottingham. Wollaton Park is a beautiful location in which to stage this type and scale of event and I'm sure everyone who attends will have a fantastic afternoon. Nottingham City Council offers an amazing summer events programme, from the long-standing Riverside festival, to the more recent Beach in the Square. Splendour will be taking place just a day before this Wollaton Classics event so it's sure to be a busy weekend and a busy summer here in Nottingham.''
