A few weeks ago, I booked tickets to see Katherine Jenkins in concert at Clumber Park in August (this is owned by the National Trust and is situated close to Worksop).
I was really happy yesterday when I received the following email from a company called UK Events:
"Great news for all our Classical enthusiasts :- The start time of our Katherine Jenkins concert has been brought forward to 6.30pm. We are pleased to announce that the fantastic classical girl group ALL ANGELS are to perform as a support act along with the already confirmed WYNNE EVANS. Tickets are available through our ticket office on 01909 512534 at just £29.95 these are fantastic value for what should be a fabulous evening. Bring your picnic along, sit back and relax to the fantastic classical sounds of this great selection of artists.
Booking fees apply."
Note - I haven't got any official confirmation from All Angels management that they are performing.
I have seen Katherine Jenkins in concert a number of times over recent years including the one in Ipswich a few weeks ago which was excellent - if All Angels are going to be performing, this should be an amazing concert at Clumber Park.

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the info, sadly I doubt I will be able to attend as it's on a Sunday (unless Stoke get knocked out of Europe - I'm saving my remaining two days holiday for that)
I'll be seeing Katherine in Lytham in a few weeks time, I love Katherine's outdoor concerts but I really wish I had chosen Clumber Park instead now though!

I noticed this concert a while ago when I was looking at Katherine Jenkins events. The location is a real possibility for me as it is not far from my son’s home, but sadly the date clashes with my holiday. I saw Katherine and Wynne at Kings Hill in Kent in June and I thoroughly enjoyed it (despite the weather). I wrote a review for that event on the Classical Crossover UK forum. www.classical-crossover.co.uk/forums/24-katherine-jenkins/10326-katherines-concerts.html I expect their set list will be similar but I could cheerfully sit through it all again. With All Angels there as well, it promises to be a fantastic concert and I am even more sorry to be missing it. I would urge anyone to go if they have the chance.

So happy to hear they will be coming to California in October! I know I'm being greedy, but I wish they'd come perform at the Barclay Theater at UCI (near me). I know Hayley was to perform there in 2005 but had to cancel...something to do with the release of Odyssey.

I have had tickets on order for this show for a while and only just heard that the girls are guests. What an unexpected bonus

Finally got back on here to report on Sunday's show. The girls perfomed for around 35-40 mins before Katherine's show, which seemed a little strange but meant that we got more of All Angels than if they had a guest slot during Katherine's show.
This was the first time I have seen the new lineup live and although they sound slightly different (don't ask me details as I doubt I could explain) but no better or worse if that makes any sense? A very enjoyable show with the girls producing their usual mix of numbers and very nicely too all done in the union flag dresses.
