If that is not enough then I have just spent two wonderful evenings in the company of Mary-Jess both at Northleach in Gloucestershire. She is fantastic to watch live and shows so much emotion in her performance, a lot of the songs she has written are close to her heart and you can really feel it in her voice. Not only that she is an absolutely lovely person and one of the nicest people you could wish to meet, she gives her time to anyone and spent around two hours with us after the concert on Friday, even inviting us to the pub with her afterwards, a genuinely lovely lovely person. Mary-Jess Leaverland is an English singer and songwriter who won Min Xing Chang Fan Tian, a provincial Chinese televised talent competition televised to 70 million people in December 2009.
