AN ANGELIC CUPPA FOR MANCHESTER’S BIG T-BREAK
The Macdonald Manchester Hotel has joined forces with The New Children’s Hospital Appeal for a sensational classical afternoon tea on Friday 22nd February 2008, part of their Big T Break campaign, by confirming that the first female classical super-group, All Angels, will perform at the event which is just ahead of their Liverpool Cathedral Concert on 28th March 08.
The event runs from 2.00pm – 4.00pm and includes a glass of Champagne, or a refined cup of Earl Grey and a classic afternoon tea; accompanied by a live performance from All Angels of tracks from their recent hit album, “Into Paradise”. For a donation of £15.00 per person, tickets will also ensure entry into a prize draw to win a host of prizes including an overnight stay with breakfast, dinner and a round of golf on the championship course at the Macdonald Portal Hotel & Spa and 1 night dinner, bed and breakfast at Macdonald Manchester Hotel to include a bottle of Champagne and fresh fruit in your bedroom.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to The New Children’s Hospital Appeal, which aims to raise £20m to fund parental accommodation and additional, more advanced equipment for the new state-of-the-art children’s hospital currently under construction next to the Manchester Royal Infirmary.
