DOOLEY ON THE TILES: It was a night of much variety for Dooley in his many guises last night as he found himself spread across the nations capital...
You see it seems to be hotting up a bit... the night life that is. As the music industry returns en masse from its summer jaunt to the warmer climates, the final quarter is upon us and... labels are desperate to highlight their wares to the media at large.
It was a diverse affair last night as we found ourselves spread between the eMusic launch at London Bridge; UCJ's All Angels launch at The Music Room in Mayfair; NME.com's 10th birthday bash at Koko and an intimate Amy Winehouse show at the Bloomsbury Theatre.
All Angels are UCJ's great white hope for the final quarter. An all girl four piece with very nice voices they are faultless in their delivery, unblemished in their appearance and very polite. They're also collectively no older than 64-ish... but that's beside the point. With UCJ's sharp edged promotional and marketing machine behind them they will go on to sell a lot of records this Christmas. Go on, buy one for your Mother.
