Sorry Laura - no peace now. We know that Laura is "Sporty Angel" www.framlingham.suffolk.sch.uk/sport/sport.htmClick on Girls' HockeyRead report Brentwood School, EssexMatch Report 1st XI v Brentwood School The girls started well and quickly converted their first short corner into a goal through Laura Wright. The game was totally dominated by Fram but sloppy defending allowed Brentwood to score an equaliser. Fram continued to apply pressure right up to the final whistle but failed to score the winner. Player of the Match: Fiona Hamer-Philip Match Result: Framlingham College 1 Brentwood School 1 It is good to see that life goes on outside of the recording studio. The girls are away at Norwich on Saturday 23rd (where my niece is an International Hockey Umpire), I shall have to ask for an autograph.

www.framlingham.suffolk.sch.uk/sport/sport.htmNext click on Girls' TennisThen Woodbridge School, SuffolkThe girls made a convincing start to the season with an impressive 8-1 win over Woodbridge School. The team was without injured captain Claire Bush which makes this result even more pleasing. The 1st pair of Laura Wright and Tori Aldred beat every pair they played 9-0. A very good start to the season! Match Result: Framlingham College 8 Woodbridge School 1 There are other examples below. Is there no end to the talent?

Click on BBC Young Chorister (I cannot create a URL direct to the page). Hello Drew and everybody! I can, and here it is: www.framlingham.suffolk.sch.uk/events/young_chorister/chorister_2005.htmIf an article comes up in a small window, right mouse click on the article, select 'Properties', copy the URL and paste it into your post. Don't worry, I won't charge a fee! ;D Real Player is required to listen to the radio recording. Best Wishes, Richard

Hi guys,
Drew thanks for finding those articles, especially the Chorister of the year stream from 2005! The current article on the BBC's own website says that stream is no longer available - so they may be going to remove it at some future date. I shall record it for posterity, better safe than sorry, and we'll see if we can make available the highlights of it soon.
Thanks for making the direct link, Richard!
Cheers, Dave

I've made up a highlights recording of the BBC Radio 2 Young Chorister of the Year stream - the start, finish and all of Laura's involvement. I suspect that it won't be long before Simon has it available on AAI but if you are impatient and haven't yet listened to the stream discovered by Drew (thanks!), it is for the moment here in Windows Media format. It's 15 minutes long, 5MB, 48kbps and Laura starts just over 3 minutes in. I think we are going to have to call her Baby Angel Enjoy!
