I wanna get the special edition of the debut album where did you get it from? Hi Shauna, This is one of life's little mysteries that we encounter from time to time. I have seen the cover of the special edition in local stores on at least two occasions, but when I took it to the counter to buy it, they gave me a funny look and said it doesn't exist! Yeah, I knew that, so why did they have the cover? My theory is this. It was probably intended that the CD would be released, and the covers were produced. We know it was decided shortly before the release date that it would only be available for download. It seems those covers were then mistakenly distributed to stores in place of Into Paradise (which is when I found them). But none of that explains how Dazza managed to obtain a copy. Dazza, congratulations for having the only signed copy of Simply Jazz. I have the CD but have never thought to get it signed. I suppose I would settle (reluctantly!) for the second one! Roger

Hi Shauna and Roger,
Daisy also asked me where I got it from. I got my copy of the special edition album, which is brand new off eBay for about £7 during November, before 'Into Paradise' was released, so I don't think that it was because of a store mix up with the new album??? I think it's something that is going to remain a mystery.
The girls also said it was the first time that they had signed that too, so it probably means that I have the only signed copy in the world of that album too. ;D

Hi Shauna and Roger
Several copies of this 'non existent' CD have appeared on Ebay - that's where I got mine.
Maybe some were produced before it was decided it would be download only or maybe a batch were produced for radio stations etc.
Maybe Dave can throw some light onto the existence of this oddity!
Best wishes Grant

Hi Grant,
I'm sure you are right in saying some copies will have been produced before it was decided to make the album download only. Inevitably in those situations, a relatively small number tend to *escape* and find there way onto Ebay. And you know what happens next. Either you or Dazza snap them up! :applaud: :applaud:

Hi Everyone,
To try and get to the bottom of this mystery I have contacted the eBay seller and asked them if they could tell me where they got the album from.
I have also wrote up the fulll set list of the concert, for those interested...
The audience were asked to sing the carols and to stand up for the first and last.
Carol Christians Awake
Huddersfield Methodist Choir Ding Dong Merrily On High Rejoice and be Merry Rise up Shepherd and Follow 12 Days of Christmas (the audience joined in from '5 Gold Rings)
Sellers International Youth Band (A brass band) Valero Caribbean Christmas The Christmas Song The Can Can
Carol O Little Town Of Bethlehem
All Angels (with Con Spirito) Sound of Silence Barcarolle Silent Night In Paradisum Singing You Through
INTERVAL
Carol Oh Come All Ye Faithful
Huddersfield Methodist Choir Unto us is born a Son The Holly and the Ivy Ring Out Wild Bells
Sellers International Youth Band Goldcrest The Irish Blessing Schneewalzer Jingle Bells
All Angels (with Con Spirito) Flower Duet Ding Dong Merrily on High Nothing Compares 2 U The Angel Gabriel Song Bird White Christmas

It was an absolutely wonderful concert and I enjoyed every minute of it, but of course it was All Angels that were the highlight.

Dazza,
Many thanks for the report and pictures - I bet that photo of you with the Angels is your current desktop wallpaper? Maybe you can print it off and get the girls to sign it next time you see them?
It's great that you have the only signed copies of those 2 CDs.
I too had a similar experience to several other people with the special edition CD when I took a copy up to the counter to be told they were out of stock.
