Thanks for that Stephany, a nice article, however I felt that at the end there was a bit of negativity! which i completely disagree with.

Hi Stephany,
Many thanks for the article, which was a good read until the last paragraph.
I can't understand the completely unwarranted negativity at the end, and neither will the majority of the people who attended, as the girls received by far the biggest applause on the night. :applaud: :applaud: :applaud:

I agree. Although the negativity may not be for meaness sake, I think that its wrong. No matter what, AA is awesome, and who cares what colour dresses they wear??? I mean, its nice seeing other colours, but putting them down for weating cream and white? Puh-lease!

I don't understand why these so called reviewers always have to make negative comments to make at concerts or shows that have obviously been very entertaining and enjoyable. It is not just the AA that have had this, a number of the concerts I have seen recently have had similar negative slants in their reviews.
Bizzare!

Hi all, Like you Dazza, I thought he was doing so well, and then he messed it up with his last paragraph, I wondered if he has ever tried singing a Capella piece? Steve.

Hi Steve,
I respect others opinions and understand that All Angels music won't be to everybody's taste, however I feel that the comments in the last paragraph was extremely harsh.
In the whole the review was fairly positive, but to completely change the tune and finish it in that way is in my opinion poor journalism.
To criticize the choice of material and arrangements, and accusing the girls of shying away from songs that will test their character and emotional range.
As you say, I wonder if they have ever tried singing a capella? Trying something a bit different to their usual style with their version of 'White Christmas', how is that shying away? and the emotional range in 'Singing You Through' alone is breathtaking let alone other songs.
The reaction of the audience can be better than any report or review, good or bad, and the fact is that the girls got the biggest and longest applause on the night.

Reporters often mess things up. Its our job, as AA fans, to make sure that AA doesn't go down im popularity b/e a stupid reviewer decided to offend them. Prehaps he isn't a fan of crossover?

The Huddersfield Examiner wasn't actually criticising the girls dresses. I presume it was a (brilliant) management decision to launch the girls in white attire when the name for the group was initially coined, and it possibly contributed to their success - group branding and all that. Personally, I love it; and that they do not have a 'group uniform' but their dresses normally are complimentary (though sometimes Daisy is a 'rebel' - dress length, sleeve length, patterning). I don't like the black from last year's 'Loose Women' performance, but the red at Hexham Abbey was stunning. Makes you wonder how their wardrobe is managed. I'm rather puzzled at what a 'sanitised arrangement' is ! Has anyone observed that - Daisy and Charlotte sing with a slight smile, while Laura and Melanie have more serious faces when they sing Daisy has very mobile eyebrows Laura is often looking upwards - perhaps to where her notes are soaring Don't change though, girls, it's all part of your individuality.

Hi Mike,
Yes, I have noticed certain individualities in the girls when they are performing, and I think that it helps them blend better as a group. From the smiles to the all white/cream dresses but each of them different, I love it.
As you say Mike, please don't change girls!

Hi Mike and Dazza, I have also noticed that the girls have individualities when performing. In my opinion its a good thing as it distinguishes them from each other and makes it more interesting. If you get what I mean. lol. If they all acted the same or looked the same, it would be a little boring. haha. Another thing I've noticed the girls do is, they look at each other during the perfomance. Has anyone else noticed that? lol. I agree Mike that Daisy and Charlotte smile quite often but Laura and Melanie do as well, they dont always have serious faces. lol. I guess its kind of a concentrating face, or something. I have also noticed, like you said Mike, that Laura looks upwards occasionally. I'm not quite sure why that is, it could be so that she isnt distracted by the audience, lol. Like Mike and Dazza said none of All Angels should change as they are brilliant as they are. They all have individual tastes and dresses, e.t.c, which makes them who they are. Please dont change girls! ;D ;D ;D xxx

Hi Shauna,
I have noticed that the girls do look at each other occasionally, I quite like that, to me it gives a sort of impression that as well as performing they are also enjoying themselves together as friends.
I think part of the reason why I have enjoyed seeing them live so much is because they enjoy performing together themselves and I think that it only adds to their performances.
