Hi Dazza, I like it when they look at each other as well. Your right it does give the impression that they are enjoying themselves together as friends. This also shows that they are really friends, not just friends when people are around. lol. I dont know if that made sense. When they smile during the performances, it just makes you wanna smile. It shows that they love performing and completely enjoy it. Plus they have beautiful smiles! At performances there is a warm atmosphere. I think that this comes from the girls. If they didnt smile or act the way they do, there would be a different feel to the concerts. Because you can see they enjoy it, it makes us enjoy it even more. (If you get what I mean. lol) xxx

Hi Shauna I have noticed that too, Charlotte looks at the others a lot, I like that, it shows she is relaxed and enjoying herself. You are right they seem very good friends. After the concert in Birmingham, all four girls stayed the night at Melanie's home in Shrewsbury. Perhaps they had an early birthday party? Steve H

Another thing I've noticed the girls do is, they look at each other during the perfomance. Has anyone else noticed that? lol. Yes, I have noticed that a lot, Shauna and it is the only thing about their performance which I am not entirely happy about. Somehow it looks as if they are trying to give one another confidence or something. My point being, they always look totally confident until they look encouragingly at one another which seems to give away the fact that they may not be. Maybe I'm wrong and they're just being friendly! Roger

Hi Shaua, Nah, I'm not saying I'm right at all. It's just the impression I get. Er, I'm not sure it's a good idea to ask them. I guess if they never speak to me again, they will have read my post! :exit: Roger

Hi Roger and Shauna,
It is always interesting how people percieve things differently.
I personally feel that if the girls did lack confidence, then it is something that we would notice in other ways too.
I am quite a positive person and I always try to look at things with a positive angle, so maybe that is why I am viewing this positively. ;D
But to me, when the girls occasional look at one another during a performance, they often do so with a smile, and it gives me the impression that they are simply enjoying the performance and enjoying performing with each other.

Hi Stephany,
Thanks for posting the excellent review, hopefully the girls gained quite a few more fans from the Huddersfield concert.

Hi everyone, particularly Dazza Everyone in HMChoir was thrilled with the reception at the concert All Angels were as good as we expected perhaps even better and what lovely girls! The Youth Band have been our guests for a number of years and just keep getting better. We are so pleased that all those who came enjoyed the concert and enjoyed joining in. Each year we try to have extra special guests having had Hayley Westenra 2 years ago. We will obviously be looking for someone or a group to join us next year. It probably won't be All Angels again but perhaps we may welcome you all again because you enjoyed yourselves and who knows our special guest may be another of your favourites. Thank you especially to Dazza for a great review which we will print off and share around at our next rehersal We would love to welcome some younger singers but Huddersfield is a long way to travel. Despite being an "old" choir we have good fun and our next event is our Annual Dinner when the entertainment is always funny Thanks again for your support HMC

Hi HMC,
Many thanks for your comments, it really was a very enjoyable and memorable evening. Many thanks to yourselves and everybody involved who organized the concert.
Huddersfield isn't too far for me, (only takes around an hour and a half, that includes a change at Manchester) but if I lived closer, (or learned to drive! ;D) then I would certainly consider coming along again but unfortunatly, mainly due to cost of hotel, I probably won't, unless of course you do have All Angels, or somebody like Hayley back again.
I am also thrilled that you will be printing off my review and handing it around at the next rehearsal. I am glad that you liked it.
Many thanks once again,
Dazza

Hi everyone, Thanks Stephany for that review, I have to say it was alot more positive than the other one! haha But to me, when the girls occasional look at one another during a performance, they often do so with a smile, and it gives me the impression that they are simply enjoying the performance and enjoying performing with each other. Dazza I agree with you Dazza I think that when the girls look at each other or when they smile, it is just a sing that they are enjoying themselves. xxx

Hi there We have been really interested in all your reviews of our concert and your discussions about the girls looking at each other during their performance and wondering whether this was to give each other confidence. It is probably because of the way they sing, unaccompanied and without conductor - they need to look at each other to ensure they come in at the right place/time. You even seen singers who are accompanied doing it -the Three Tenors do on their video We may be able to send programmes to fans who could not come to the concert (SAE) but are looking to see how many were left Happy New Year HMChoir

Hi HMChoir,
Many thanks for your input, it is certainly possible and you may well be right, although personally, I feel that if they were doing that, they wouldn't be smiling as much as they do when they look at each other. I think that it is just part of who they are and that they are just enjoying the performance and performing with each other.
Although I already have one, I may be interested in 1 or 2 more programmes if there are any left, there are some nice pictures of the girls and apart from my picture with them, I have also ran out of things for them to sign. ;D
