Hi I phoned and asked re this....Only premium ticket holders are able to upgrade to VIP's free of charge, the allocation of VIPs has far from sold out at any of the venues, even though it was very small anyway so we will still have a great VIP reception. not according to what I've just received - unless I'm reading it wrong.. Although we are personally under no obligation to do so, as a gesture of goodwill to our customers, secureTicket, are offering anyone that has bought tickets a chance to attend another concert and to upgrade their tickets at no additional cost to you, as we appreciate the disappointment. i think you are reading it wrong, there 3 ticket types and the upgrades were for the type above what you bought, so general went to premium and premium to VIP, i emailed secureticket and they told me that the VIP section is being kept to the same allocation as not all of the VIP tickets were sold out! I have to say i found secureticket very helpful, and am very pleased with the way their handling this even though its well out of their control! I've had concert cancelled on me before (not by secureticket) and never got a penny back, so am over the moon that their doing this for us! ;D

Hi Chloe,
Welcome to the forum! I hope you enjoy posting here.
I also found Secure Ticket to be very helpful yesterday when I spoke to them on the phone to upgrade one ticket and refund another. However, they told me I should be receiving another confirmation e-mail confirming the details which I haven't yet received. I sent them an e-mail about it last night but no reply yet. But I guess they have been extremely busy today!
I have also received the e-mail this afternoon which seems to confirm that the concerts have in fact been canceled and not postponed, although I would prefer to wait for official confirmation through the official website or from Bedlam Management first.

Hi Everyone,
I have just received a phone call from Secure Ticket and they were again very helpful, explaining the situation and just confirming my upgrade and cancellation.
They also told me that they are looking to post tickets out ASAP, hopefully starting tomorrow.

They have just called me as well Dazza...looks like they are working very late trying to get this all sorted for us....I have tickets for York and Coventry and they have confirmed that the York tickets will definatley be going out Friday as that is the 14 days before the event, the others will go out as soon as possible but the 14 days for those is not until next week....I feel very sorry for the guys at secureticket they seem to be getting a lot of flack when we must remember that they are only the ticket agent...and not responsible for the bigger picture. I would have no hesitation in dealing with them again, Dan has been brilliant and really helpful.

I too had a phone call from Dan at Secure Ticket, just before you, Dazza - polite but not helpful.
Basically, I had emailed Secure Ticket complaining that I had paid 2x£60 for two VIP tickets at St.Paul's and had now found that other people who had paid just £35 for Premium tickets were getting VIP status as well. The offer to me was (presumably two) gift packs of unspecified signed items, which to my mind don't equate to 2x£25, especially if you had no intention of buying the items in the first place. This seems grossly unfair : some sort of partial refund is more in keeping with the situation.
I would have been £50 better off by just buying two Premium tickets in the first place and getting the free upgrade.
Dan said that one condition in the ticket sale contract is that Secure Ticket do not have to refund for cancelled concerts. I doubt whether this condition is tenable in court, being totally unreasonable and biassed towards one party.
He also said that Secure Ticket have not been given a reason for the cancellations, and that in their contract PDP do not have to give any.
As Secure Ticket are unwilling/unable to accede to my request, I asked Dan to make representations to PDP and AA Management regarding the ticket price fiasco. It does not engender confidence in any AA fan - would you ever buy a VIP ticket up front again ?
To original VIP ticket holders : I urge you to email Secure Ticket yourself - the more complaints the better. To original Premium ticket holders : you lucky ....

It seems to me that you are being a bit unreasonable, I am sure what secure ticket have done for us was done in our interest and they genuinley thought that they were doing something good. They are well within thier rights to recind this offer and i am sure if many people start complaining they will. Dont try and spoil things for everyone else....... I have been going to concerts for over 20 years now and i now always read the terms and conditions in full before i accept them, which is something you have to do, once you have accepted them they stand in any court of law...I have lost money on quite a few concerts in my time that I thought would never be cancelled and i did not have a leg to stand on as i had accepted the terms and conditions that enforced it. Just be happy that we are going to get to see the Girls and enjoy what is I am sure going to be a great evening......

To original VIP ticket holders : I urge you to email Secure Ticket yourself - the more complaints the better. To original Premium ticket holders : you lucky .... To be perfectly honest, I would say that you are the one being if not in the wrong, then at the least extremely impolite. Most ticketing agents have through their terms and conditions no requirement to provide a refund or an alternative option if the concert is cancelled. SecureTicket have gone out of their way in this instance to offer alternatives, some of which I am guessing will cost them more than the profit margin that they will be operating under. Yes, others have, in this case, received something for less than you originally paid, but that is seen as a gift in their favour. For you to complain about it in this way - not only on this forum, but also to SecureTicket - seems to me to be impolite. Would you threaten to sue a car dealer if you had purchased a car on the Friday only to have found out that from the Monday you would get a free tank of gas with it? Personally, I think that SecureTicket should be commended for their response in this matter and their handling of the cancellations. They appear to have gone out of their way with emails, phone calls, and ticketing options just to please All Angels' fanbase, ie, us. I doubt that we could ask for more..

Hi Chris,
I completely agree. Secure Ticket have been extremely busy today and I have been very impressed with the way that they have dealt with the cancellations and the service that they have offered.

Hi Martin,
I have just checked by statement, I haven't received my refund yet.
I had an e-mail from Secure Ticket on the 17th of March confirming that my refund has been processed and to allow a minimum of 10 days for it to show in my account. Because of the Easter holidays it has only been 5 working days, or 9 days overall. I shouldn't imagine it will be too long now.

I haven't received anything yet either. But we can trust them, I got my refund for the Manchester concert fairly quickly.

I will just have to be a little more patient although I must say I do not understand this ten days stipulation. Normally, credit card refunds take no more than 48 hrs! Best wishes Martin Martin

Hi Martin,
I don't understand why it takes 10 days either, perhaps it is something to do with their system? Shouldn't be long now though.

I doubt whether this condition is tenable in court, being totally unreasonable and biassed towards one party. Hi Dan was not actually correct saying that they do not have to refund for cancelled contracts. The terms and conditions clearly state that tickets will be refunded for a cancelled concert. I'm still waiting! Martin
